RE: Where can a non-resident open a bank account in Costa Rica?

Costa Rican banks seem to have many restrictions on opening accounts for non-residents.  Some banks seem to be be less restrictive than others.  Which banks make it easiest to open an account?

As an individual non-resident, you can open an account at Banco Nacional with your passport and two local references (e.g., school administrator, landlord).
