do you know of a bank that will issue the required rentista financial letter?

Another residency tale of woe… We have applied for Rentista residency. In order to do that, we took out a $60,000 CD with BNCR which pays the required $2,500 per month for 2 years. BNCR issued the required letter for immigration. However, we were just informed that immigration requires 1 additional word in the the letter and has demanded a new letter. BNCR refuses to update their form letter, stating that their letter is the official letter. We are stuck in the middle. Our only options now are to find another CR bank that can issue the exact letter that immigration requires. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, do you know of a bank that will issue the required rentista financial letter?

Try Scotia Bank. They’ll be able to help with the letter.

We also obtained our letter from ScotiabBank without problems.

I have now moved most of my accounts to BCR.  Has anyone had problems with the Rentista letter from BCR (will need when I renew)?
