If you are a resident and are now covered by national healthcare (CCSS), are you happy with the healthcare you are getting?

The quality of public healthcare in Costa Rica seems to vary by location.  Some expats simply use private care doctors even though they are paying into CCSS.  And for emergency care or specialist care, I have heard horror stories of extended wait times to get the care needed.  What has your experience been?

Thanks Donny, but I am more interested in hearing about personal experiences with healthcare in CR – and specifically with care provided by CCSS.
