When should I apply for renewal of my Rentista Residency?

As my renewal date approaches, how long before my renewal date should I initiate my application to renew?  And what documents will be required?

Hi Redbeard.

Good afternoon.

In order to renew you residency first you must be clear under which category you have your residency. This will require different documents to proceed. It is not the same to renew under a Rentista category since you will be required to present the note from the bank stating the same amount has been deposited for the 24 month’s period. There is a fine of 3$ per each month your DIMEX card is expired, you should renew it 2 months prior to expiration.
